The SFO convention will take place from the 04 to the 06 May 2024. This SFO Convention will be back in physical form, after two years of digital and then half-digital because of the healthcare crisis. It will be held at the Palais des Congrès de la Porte Maillot (2 place de la Porte Maillot, 75017 Paris). It’s easy to get there. The Palais des Congrès de Paris is only a short walk from the Champs-Elysées and the Eiffel Tower. Getting there by public transport is simple:
- By metro to “Porte Maillot”
- By RER to “Neuilly – Porte Maillot”
- By bus, on lines 3, 73, 82, 244, PC1 and PC3

The SFO 2023 Awards
The SFO Awards for 2021 were presented during the Dijon Optical Convention in July. The winners in 2021 were:

- The Grand Prix Léon Brillouin (awarded every two years, based on propositions by the jury): awarded to Jean-Paul Pocholle for his entire career
